 <![CDATA[Tower 65 was dispatched to assist Berks Station 97 on a dwelling fire on Old Route 100 in&nbsp;Washington&nbsp;Township Berks County.&nbsp; While enroute, Berks County Radio advised all units of a working fire.&nbsp; Tower 65 arrived and set up RIT on&nbsp;Side A of the dwelling.&nbsp; 65 crews threw additional ground ladders to side B and D for crews operating on Division 2 and 3.&nbsp; Crews stood fast for about 90 minutes until the fire was under control and then released by Chief 97....]]>

Each platter contains 1/2 of a chicken, a baked potato, a dinner roll, applesauce and peppered cabbage all for only $9.00.&nbsp; There will be areas set up to eat in if you like.

 	<title>Dwelling Fire in Pennsburg</title>

 <![CDATA[Around 1600 hours Box 83-53 was sounded for a dwelling fire on&nbsp;main Street in&nbsp;Pennsburg.&nbsp; Tower 65 responded with 5 and Chief 65&nbsp;arrived to find an extinguished stove fire with a moderate smoke condition in the dwelling.&nbsp; The assignment was held to 65 units.&nbsp;&nbsp;EMS&nbsp;continued in for a check up of one resident.&nbsp; Crews used a PPV fan to remove the smoke, checked the stove for extension and secured the eletric to the unit.&nbsp; Crews also checked the attached exposure apartments but found nothing.&nbsp; Units were returned ina bout 45 minutes.
&nbsp;
While returning back to the station, there was a cell phone tragedy in front of the firehouse. &nbsp;Deputy 65 exited the Tower to assist with backing the unit in but his phone slipped from the holder.&nbsp; As the Tower backed in, the phone was run over and destroyed.&nbsp; Luckily, he had a back up phone....]]>

 <![CDATA[Squad 65 was dispatched to assist Bucks Station 75/57 on a vehicle rescue at Rt. 663 and Spinnerstown&nbsp;Road.&nbsp; Bucks Chief 57 arrived and had a 2 vehicle accident with a car fire and brush fire. &nbsp;Medic 108 arrived and advised that a roof and door was to go.&nbsp; Crews from Squad 65 and Special&nbsp;Service 65 went in service to remove the roof, glass and drivers door.&nbsp; All crews assisted Medic 108 in packaging and removing the injured driver.&nbsp; Once extricated, 65 crews cleaned up and were returned to service in about 45 minutes....]]>

 <![CDATA[Bucks County Fire School sent down Instructor Tom Carl to review Thermal Imager procedures and operations.&nbsp; Crews from Station 65 and numerous surrounding fire companies participated in the training. &nbsp;The first night was in a lecture format that included the history of thermal imaging cameras and some tactical uses.&nbsp; The second night was all hands on in our station.&nbsp; Crews were tasked in 3 evolutions including mirroring of water and shinny objects, lack of sight maneuvers with a partner and a heated room evolution.&nbsp; The heated room section provided excitement when the heat detector in the room activated tripping the station fire alarm.&nbsp; All was well and the call was canceled.&nbsp; Crews learned some new tricks and practiced and refreshed their knowledge.&nbsp; Thank you to Bucks for the class as well as the surrounding companies that participated....]]>
